Just thought I'd announce the launch of another Think Tanks site, I still have loads of screenshots to sort through and add as well as more detailed information on the maps.
If I've missed anyone else's TT site from my links section, please let me know.
Think Tanks Mania
Also.. for those who were interested in PositionGrabber, thats now finished and available.
Now back to finishing off CTF.... nah.. maybe a quick game first.

Nice site...
A couple places you say "I don't know about Mac, but..." when it comes to file paths. Well, let's get rid of that and make it a resource for everyone... :)
On your customising page for where to put tank skins, add the following:
On Mac OS X, CTRL-Click on the ThinkTanks application. Choose "Show Package Contents" from the pop-up menu, then go to the Contents/Resources/game/data/shapes/tanks folder to find tank skins.
When you speak of terrain skins, you can add after the path you give:
(remember: Contents/Resources/game/data/shapes on the Mac)
On your Editing and Creating Maps page 1, add:
On Mac OS X, CTRL-Click on the ThinkTanks application. Choose "Show Package Contents" from the pop-up menu. Mission files are located within Contents/Resources/game/data/missions.
You also may wish to remove the mention of SimpleText. Mac OS X includes TextEdit , or people may prefer to try BareBones BBEdit ($179) or TextWrangler ($49) at http://www.barebones.com . Very much worth the price for their power, especially if you do a lot of plain text editing. (There are, of course, command line editors available as well, but no need mentioning them :) )
Lastly: the word "editing" only has one "T" in it -- you have "editting" throughout your site, I think.
Hope this is helpful!
EDIT: Forgot a whole line! Yikes.. The boldface type above now contains the proper directions. DOH!

I cant begin to speculate what you might have done.

Can you plz tell me the path of where it is?

The only thing I can think you can have done wrong, is to not put those two lines in the right file, or have done so in amongst the code and not at the very end of the file. Or perhaps you didnt copy those two lines correctly.
Find the two lines you added and remove them, simple as that.
The other two files are completely separate from the rest of your installation and don't overwrite anything. If you put them in the wrong places, then it will just be those scripts that don't load and you'll see an error message in the console screen saying 'cannot find file'.
The other option is that you have been opening up other files on your own accord and messed them up.
Perhaps the final alternative is that you have simply messed up your shortcut to the game, and it cant understand that.
Quoted from my page:
Installation and usage instructions are included, and while I have endeavoured to keep this as simple as possible to install and use, you do so at your own risk and I will bear no responsibility if it screws up your system. If you don't know how to launch a dedicated server and see the server console window, or even what that is, then don't even bother downloading this file until you know what I am talking about.

Nice site liked the layout and ease of navigation. Seems like you need a news & events section so we can keep up all the latest haps.

For PC >
How did you launch your dedicated server? From a shortcut in the start menu? If so.. just right hand click on the short-cut, and choose properties. Change the shortcut's file by adding: -log 1 to the end of it. This will now save everything printed in the console window to a log file. (plain text)
If you dont understand any of this.. are unsure of any of this.. don't know what I'm refering to at any point, then you SHOULD NOT be messing with these files, and this script is going to be of no use to you. I know you may want to, you may think its easy and anyone can do it, but unless you do know exactly what you are and should be doing, then DON'T DO IT.
The script will appear to do nothing (except tell you that it's activated or deactivated) in the game unless you can see the console window. It just outputs stuff to there which you can then add in to you mission file.

So you create a dedicated server. Leave that open. Launch ThinkTanks and go into your server. Then activate the PositionGrabber and use the hot keys listed in the readme. When you press them, you will see the object data being outputted in the console window. (You may need to keep flicking between windows - Alt Tab - if you dont have the screen space to show both windows)For PC >

Asterisk [newbie map editor]

Z, position grabber sounds great but i do not know how to launch a dedicated server. Could someone please explain the requirements and process for doing so? Also, i can't get any games i create to show up on the server list. The value thing in prefs.cs is set to always and i do not believe i am behind a firewall. Could a TT player or a dev help answer these questions/Asterisk [newbie map editor]

Oh no.. what, its already been documented and you already have that info? Ah.. but it must have been some foolish person to put it in a readme file that no one ever reads....
Well my friend if you always ignore readme files, you'll always be missing out and will be 10 stages behind those that do.
If you are still having problems after reading that, I suggest you post your question in the 'Think Tanks Customer Support' forum.

exec("game/server/scripts/zPosGrab.cs"); // Position Grabber
if (!$Server::Dedicated) {
moveMap.bindCmd(keyboard, "m", "", "exec(\"game/client/scripts/zkbposgrab.cs\");");
}
By having it on the moveMap it won't be called when typed in chat. The if statement prevents an error when launching a dedicated.

Z, about the "m" thing, just chage it to this:exec("game/server/scripts/zPosGrab.cs"); // Position Grabber
if (!$Server::Dedicated) {
moveMap.bindCmd(keyboard, "m", "", "exec(\"game/client/scripts/zkbposgrab.cs\");");
}
