Slowest ios device

Does anyone know what the slowest ios device is?( i'm guessing the first or second generation ipod touch's)
I want to make sure my game will run smooth on all ios devices, i've got an ipad2 but also want to test it on the
slowest device.

@Hilbert - We managed to get v1.5 running smoothly on a 2nd gen iPod touch. For my own game, I would target nothing less than iPhone 3GS, but that's my own preference.

Thirded. As a side note, the lowest I initially planned to only go so far back for iTorque QA was 3rd Gen devices, but an open box "3rd Gen" we bought actually turned out to be a 2nd Gen device.

Yes the iphone 3gs is hardware equal to the itouch 3rd gen (unlike ipod 2nd gen which has a 25% faster cpu than an iphone 3G - while the rest there is equal)


@GG: Sorry to hear for ya that you got messed by apples fuckup strategy on iOS year 3 by selling '8GB' itouch 3 which in reality where itouch2
