While playing a scrum match incognito last week, I had the opportunity to listen in on you and Rogue (spelt "eugor") giggle and gloat like a couple of schoolyard punks. I didn't take kindly to hearing how you thought your team was "Invincible", how Rogue found it surprisingly too easy to pick off a certain member of my team ("Five times in a row!"), or how you viewed my team as too technical, hahahaha, etc., etc..

Now you have to eat your words. And if you think we're desperate and stooping now, just wait and see how low we can go.

Too bad your prediction of a slaughter didn't ring true last night.

#642 Hoosane?, I thought that teams were set for the season , if we are allowed to continually recruit,what a team is becomes meaningless as you can recruit/stack on a week by week basis. Also , Hoosane?! , he may be good , but it isnt worth the dignity of the league to have a degenerate such as him involved. As well, give it time between him and fatlips knowing game passwords you are opening us up for sabatoge,if you have never expierenced them in a normal game, then look in the dictionary under team killers and their pictures appear next to the definition.

#643 Short of questionable language during yesterday's mud slinger, I've never seen Hoosane do anything like what everyone is freaking out about. He behaved like a man yesterday, followed the plan, and we won.

Leopard: Page me when our team of scrummers and strategists looks stacked to you. Didn't you drop into our game yesterday before Z admin booted you? What were you doing there? Maybe you should keep the sabotage commentary down as you're the only one thus far jumping into someone else's game.

play team BM as long as I have and you would have seen it quite a regular basis. As for jumping in yesterday, I thought you guys were done and were just hashing out as per normal after game , it was close to 645 pacific so thought you guys were finished. I later tracked down -z- and apologized for being there also when I joined , I was out of the way and did not fire a single shot, never have been a team killer , never will be.

Quite interesting that you have no complaints about Supra recruiting TankOr. He's replacing RamRod and we're replacing ALT F4 = FAST TANK - who hasn't played a match yet. And didn't you go on a recruting blitz when FP dropped out? Please tell me how many good BM only players are left out there now to stack our team of scrummers?

And if Hoosane is such a team killer, doesn't that work to your advantage?

Trust me, if it came to the point where Hoosane - who has been nothing more than cordial to my team - started sabotaging matches, I will drop him in a second. But it ain't gonna happen.

Hoosy is the nastiest guy on the game, to dis one at least. The reaon he's "polite" is because he hasn't played me yet. I'm amazed you two worked this out, but he really is desperate to prove that he can beat the best battlemoders out there. Well, good luck, man. "eugor" and I would love to see it.

Cranium, the second place team in the league, has now recruited Hoosane in their bid for first. What will happen next? Will Killer77, ALT+F4 =FASTTANK, and Skip to My Lou be added to Medulla's lineup? Will Synaptic simply flood their ranks with light tanks no one has ever heard of? Freudian, favored to overthrow Cranium, is now down, and not looking up. What will happen to the disintegrating battlemode league?

Preposterous. No more recruits allowed for teams who already have seven.

#651 This is getting ugly. Cool off boys, it's a game and we're all virtual characters. Keep the Thinking in the Tanking.

1- As far as killing teammates, cliff-diving and suicide go, it is now FORBIDDEN by the league admin. =) Lame-ass tactics shall be reported here and enforced, er, well, no dessert or something. Seriously.

2- As far as recruiting goes, Captains have the power to fire or recruit whoever at any time. No restriction.
Some team have a nice cohesion and show up and don't need more players, Medulla being prime example and also Cranium. Blessed is the team that doesn't need to recruit! Other teams are single-legged and have experienced big turnover - Synaptic and Freudians. Synaptic had games where only 2-3 guys showed up.

3- As far as lame players go, I trust our Captains to evict them on the spot. I don't think that LC50, Jangles, Leopard or Supra will gladly suffer fools for a long time. Report fools here!

4- If we have a morons invasion on our server, we will promptly change the PW. So far so good.

I now have the Cranium-Freudian score, I need the Medulla-Synaptia score. Pleeeease.

No sour grapes Jangy, just concerned about the quality/integrity of the league,understand replacing players, been there ,done that. Dont smack a fellow canuck eh?
Just would like to see a little more organization behind recruiting. When FP started league any recruits were ran through him and he assigned them accordingly. We need to get back to this kind of a system for the remainder of this league season and also for the next one coming up.

Personally I can care less who gets recruited to a team as long as you have a heads up if someone offers it to you. Fragging makes no never-mind since it deducts from the totals anyway. Password broadcasting could be a pain in the butt though.

From a scruming point of view I have found BM to be quite interesting and fun. It sure sharpens the gun for scrum too. I haven't done it long enough to pick an all-around player. Ben, Sup, Cowboy, Lep, Jangy, LC and all the others have definite strengths and weaknesses. Play them on their game, you're dead. Otherwise you might have a fighting chance.

Many good BM'ers do seem to wander around lost in a scrum match though :-)

As for me? I know what my role is on my team, and my concern isn't the number beside my name when the game is over. If you took your eyes off yours for a minute, you might have a better record.

#658 Ok. Everyone simmer down. Ready: Im sorry things got of hand. If anything that was said by me that was offensive and hurtful, Im sorry. @ ALL: Please stop insulting me and other team members on both sides. Let me be clear about my mistake: calling you cheaters was a mistake. I was mad, and their was lots of things being said at me, but no excuse. For that I am sorry. The continued barrage of foul language and insults though was shocking.

About the game, I obviously have a different perspective than outlined by Tally above, and my team did NOT support the tactic employed by Team Cranium. They did not understand why I was upset or really what was going on. I dont think it is a correct interpretation to conclude that because the team stayed, they were ok with it. They simply were not. In fact, Team Freudian considered such a tactic when Hugo was captain, and the whole team was opposed to it. I imagine that we could pull from the league in protest (taking things a little too seriously), or something crazy like that, but I think this doesnt help anything or anyone.

So Lets move on - count it as a Cranium win - ban these above mentioned practices - and STOP personal and ridiculous insults of both teams members. Ok? Also, if you have something terrible to say about me after this post - just dont. I know some will want to be coy and cute in their responses, with an edge of insult and sarcasm thrown in the mix. Please save it - move on for the league - and the good of all players. I hope we can return to normal play again.

#659 Indeed at the time, maybe 5 weeks ago, one (former) teammate emailed the team and suggested we take advantage of these loopholes. #1: Say I have 0 point and my buddy has 0, I could kill him and deny points to the other team. #2 Another one is to throw oneself down the cliff AFTER the enemy tank that shooted the last bullet that hit you died. This would do: 'Hugobrain has been eliminated' and not 'Hugobrain as been eliminated by (enemy player)'.
