I think most of the *solid* players that are going to join the team battlemode league (TBL) have done so. Form the 3-4 teams and let the games begin! New players who wish to join can be added to the TBL talent pool (like on the scrum league site) and can be worked in soon. Let me know if you need any help organizing or anything.

#51 Just had a great idea for the random team selection: why not ask Joe to assign the players to the 3-4 captains we have currently? That way no one could dispute the team assignments, he could post the rosters for all to see on this thread (it would take him like 5 minutes), and I'm sure he'd be honored!

#55 My only problem with this is... ten teams? Even the scrum league doesn't have that many, and it's going to take forever to get that many. And I don't know if you know this FP but shadow claims he has prior rights to the battlemode league and is making his own. Just so you know.

#57 I say get we the ball rolling with 3-4 teams and expand as more players become interested. Read some of the scrum league posts.... they have trouble enough with 4-5 teams. By the time we get 60 people signed up, the first 20 people will have given up on the enterprise.

Who cares who tried to get Team Battlemode league started when? There are no "rights" to anything, the only absolute is that your brain will be separated from your tank at one point. FP has motivated a critcal mass of people to get organized for this thing... as long as he follows through, then let's not worry about who's idea was who's.

I just want a team to captain, some worthy opponents, and some sort of neat Think Tanks team battlemode league logo I can iron on my boxers (Joe: marketing ideas!).
