Victory - Synaptic has tasted victory , with hard fighting and team discipline Team Synaptic is starting to jell together.
We had an overage again so this time Stan sat out - thanxs Stan your there next week.
first game - synaptic 54 / Fruedian 44
second game - Synaptic 54 / Fruedian 49
Synaptic 108 / Fruedian 93
will upload 2nd game graphic
Bull as a heavy played quite well as a newer team heavy
Osama,Blitz,Flea rounded out the attack with frustrating accurate fire
and disciplined play, and of course Leopard continues to be a general dangerous pain in the A**.
Fruedian - which fielded Hugo, Ramrod,Tomago,KJ,and I believe a sub - tank dork, presented a aggressive opposition.
PLotting and planning for next week

Hat's off to Team Medulla. Wickedly accurate sharpshooting. It's never easy being down two. Cranium now pushes into a first place tie and is undefeated in 5.

Team Cranium continues their winning streak by beating a three-man Team Medulla. Both rounds went to Cranium with Round One at 31 to 25 and Round Two at 41 to 27. Totals for the game are Cranium with 72 and Medulla with 52.
Both rounds started at a somewhat relaxed pace as Medulla's short-handed team rolled into firing positions and dug in. Cranium's squad of Lights then singles out a Medulla position and proceeds to attack it while the rest of Cranium snipe and tenderize Medulla's other positions in anticipation for the Light's feeding frenzy. During both rounds, Cranium waged a series of leisurely paced sniping contests against Medulla's Heavies while the Lights scored on Medulla's scattered individuals.
Medulla faired very well in this contest for being down two tanks. Medulla's Heavies coordinated a brilliant tactic of peek and shoot to repeatedly score against Cranium. Even with employing this very effective tactic, the imbalance in numbers did Medulla in.
Cranium's winning streak is now at five and their record ties with Medulla at five wins and two losses. Cranium faces Freudian next week while Medulla faces a red-hot Synaptic.
Will Cranium continue their winning streak in week eight and stay in the top spot? Or will Medulla regain the lead? How will the reborned Synaptic fair? It's anyone's guess.

...next thing I know, the little light tank drivers of Cranium are dancing on our graves.

Woe is me! Medulla shall rise again!
Good job Medullans for hanging in there (congrats to Quiter for earning the Reaper Patch!). Also congrats to the Craniumites for tieing up the race to the championship!

SUNDAY NIGHT
After yet another defeat, Team Freudian's former Captain Hugobrain resigned on Sunday, thus thrusting his second in command Supra in the position of Supreme Leadership. 'We did great progress from our humble beginning, I mean, come on, now we even shoot back!' were his last words before he got ushered out of the room. 'Expect dramatic changes, we're gonna get down to dirty business' were Supra's laconic comment following his coronation.
MONDAY NIGHT
In a spectacular twist, former Team Freudian captain, aka Hugo-'shoot-me'-brain, went missing for the past 24hours. Local authorities had no comment so far. 'We suspect foul play... of course'.
In unrelated news, pigs were seen flying, while the DowJones (...)
TUESDAY AFTERNOON
Team Freudians celebrated with great joy the discovery of the whereabouts of their former captain, Hugobrain, who went missing for 24 hours. 'After sunday's night resounding defeat, we thought we would send HB on a short holiday. He seemed a bit tense lately. But then he went awol...'
The rumors which at first linked HB disappearance with the capture of Saddam Hussein seem to have been unfounded. 'We're all happy he's back, now we can wrap-up our past history and move forward together.' said a spokeperson for the team. Now, a brief look at the weather forecast (...)

Both games were a mix of sniping from the hills and short-range melee in the "forest area" and ammo gate area of Freudian Flats. After a dead 50-50 split in the first game, game 2 came down to the last few seconds. The teams were separated by a wide distance, and, even though Ben's tank was the only Medulla tank smoking, the Freudians couldn't pin him down for the point to tie up the game. Medulla squeaks by a Freudian team, which has now demonstrated that it's a force to be reckoned with!
Congratulations are due to Dementus, who earned another "Silver Brain" and the "100 Patch", LC50, who picked up the "Reaper Patch", and Quiter, who earned his first "Silver Brain". (Team Medulla Website).
With Synaptic's strong showing against Cranium and Freudian's near upset of Medulla, this week's games have shown that it's still anyone's league. While Medulla and Cranium have dominated till now, Synaptic and Freudian have shown that they have what it takes to turn the league upside down in no time.
Week 7 is going to be the week to watch, with top teams Cranium and Medulla butting heads. A Cranium win could tie the race with Medulla for season championship. Also, Synaptic has a chance to even things up with Freudian. All bets are off, folks!
Team Medulla is missing Az! If you see him please tell him that his talents are sorely missed!
