Please let me know how much lag (if any) you all experienced during the two matches. I saw some skittering and "deja vu" movements of tanks. And this was from within my Local Area Network going from my Windows gaming box to my Windows server running TT in six feet away in the living room.
I need to judge whether or not I should release this box out to the public (except during League play day on Sunday) as a Team Battle box. Thanks.

Team Cranium continues their winning streak by crushing Team Freudian. Both teams were fully manned in a regulation five to five slugfest. Round One went to Cranium with 33 to 28 and Round Two also went to Cranium with 48 to 34. Totals for the game are Cranium at 81 and Freudian at 62.
During Round One, Freudian staged a well-coordinated strategic move that captured the Freudian Flats' ammo gate region. Freudian managed to hold this important area by directing accurate fire, reforming quickly and denying Cranium access to the ammo gate. Freudian deployed two-tank units to kill off opposition tanks attempting to access the ammo gate. Freudian forced Cranium to reload by re-spawning and both teams traded tank for tank.
Freudian's excellent tactic was keeping the game tied until the last third of Round One. Cranium's near continuous use of massing fire was finally able to scatter Team Freudian during the final minutes of the round. Cranium continued to mass and directed effective fire at the scattered Team Freudian individuals to win Round One by five kills.
Round Two began as Cranium massed upon the Freudian Ridge and the High Top Foot Hills to face Freudian. Freudian attempted to capture the ammo gate region as in the first round but Cranium's accurate mass fire upon that region and Freudian's spawning points prevented Freudian from holding the position. Freudian then formed a loose line to rain shots at the massed Cranium team and formed one or two-tank units to charge Cranium's position. Cranium's team worked together well and fought off all charges and directed accurate counter-battery fire to win Round Two by a 14-point margin.
Both teams had another well-fought slugfest. Cranium's record stands at three wins and two losses while Freudian has two wins and three losses.

well medula in a 2 heavy, one lite mode defeated team synaptic in a well fought battle.2 heavies stayed back while the ver present clean-up squad ( aka Ben ) when hunting for injured victims. Being this is a basically brand new synaptic team they did their captain proud tonight, and some hard fought lessons were learned. We had over attendance and had to let Blitz on the sidelines, but a rotation will be set up to keep it fair to all available ( thanxs for showing Blitz )1st game was close at a 41/34 score for medulla, 2nd game was 62/52 medulla but team synaptic started to jell casusing much pain for the normally unscathed Ben in the 2nd game.
So yes we is at the bottom of the pile but it aint over till the fat camel sings.

Medulla held it together against a 5-tank Synaptic team. We had some good luck with the spawning, keeping Synaptic on their toes with a variety of attacking/defending formations. Synaptic held the ammo gate the whole game, but Ben's strafe attacks and Quiter's sniper fire kept them pinned down. Leopard and Stan had some consistently good games. Michael had technical difficulties... need to figure out what went wrong (is it Michael or Leopard?). Thanks again for hosting Leopard!
Ben's earning awards as fast as I can come up with them, breaking 100 experience points to earn the "100 Patch" as well as another Silver Brain. I earned my first Silver Brain and Quiter came extremely close (0.5 experience points!)! For details: Team Medulla Website.

ALSO: THIS WEEK TEAM CAPTAINS WILL EMAIL A NEW PASSWORD TO THEIR TEAMS. Due to a few intrusions during past games, this password needs to be kept secret. Don't post it on the forum, don't paint it on your custom skin, and don't toss it around in the presence of the huddled masses yearning to **** up the battlemode league.

Thanks to Az, Chanman, FP, Leopard, etc. for hosting League games. From now on, could the game hosters set their servers to allow 12 players? That would help organize extra players that show up at the beginning of the games.ALSO: THIS WEEK TEAM CAPTAINS WILL EMAIL A NEW PASSWORD TO THEIR TEAMS. Team Freudian simply doesn't have battlemoders. HB and ACA are scrummers, and the rest of their team doesn't have much experience in battlemode, and I never see any of them online.
Then there's the two top teams, and it's pretty obvious why. Cranium has four veterans in Tally Ho, jangles, alugthog and Cowboy. They all have huge skills as scrummers and bmoders, Cowboy fighting me on a perfectly even footing never giving ground, Tally givin me awesome fights and scrum help, jangles renowned as a scrummer, and slugthog is a fantastic team coordinator. Then of course there's chanman, who though not a vet player, has quickly become known as one of the better heavy tank players. This team uses its light swarm to great effect with chanman giving them that little boost a heavy can give to a light tank.
Finally Team Medulla. With the best heavies in the game on its side, LC50, Quiter, and Dementus, these heavies alone can quickly rack up the points. With a little extra kick from Az, Michael, and myself, this team is practically stacked, as is Cranium.
I don't think anything can be done before the season finale, but after the championship between Medulla and Cranium (unless something goes drastically wrong) either the teams should be disbanded or trades should be coordinated between team captains. Possibly the four teams should split extra players to form, if possible, two new teams. If not two, then one team, thus giving one team a week a bye week. There are easily enough extra players already on the league to make at least one extra team.
Trades could be worked thus: Synaptic trades Stan and Blitzkrieg for chanman. I am not so certain about how this would work since losing one player and gaining two, or the other way around, could get confusing.
Please respond. I think the unevenness of the teams needs to be addressed.

To amend for the worthless post I just flung up, I'd like to point out the imbalance between teams. Leopards team, Synaptic, though extremely dedicated (the entire team showed up for their first game)and talented,is fairly new and hasn't worked together much. Team Freudian simply doesn't have battlemoders. HB and ACA are scrummers, and the rest of their team doesn't have much experience in battlemode, and I never see any of them online.

what we do, and this i wont share, is bust our asses as a team like nobody's business. not long ago, we were 0-2, embarassed at the hands of our first two ...... whomever, and scuffling for an idea as to play this game. the game before last we outplayed you guys. but other than that, we've out-strategized the competition.
ask em :).
we shall not be punished for our progress, for coming together as a team. we learned from the first two games that playing alone means dying together. we have weaknesses, none of which am i sharing with anyone. our biggest strength? our brains. you guys got em. you can use em too :).

Nay ben, i dont think splitting us up is the answer. we may be many vets, but not all of us are expert BMers. In fact, i don't know if more than one or two of us really even ever battles when they aren't scrummin.what we do, and this i wont share, is bust our asses as a team like nobody's business. not long ago, we were 0-2, embarassed at the hands of our first two ...... whomever, and scuffling for an idea as to play this game. the game before last we outplayed you guys. but other than that, we've out-strategized the competition.

Synaptic and Freudian are the underdogs and don't have much hope of improving except in combat vs each other. Too late now to do switching of players with them, but after the season... maybe the second or highest scorer of Medulla and Cranium could transfer to them.

Team Cranium fights Synaptic four times, Medulla three times, and Freudian three times. If they drop three fights, they will finish 10-5.
Team Freudian fights Cranium three times, Medulla four times, and Synaptic three times. Assuming they drop six of those fights they end the season 6-9.
Team Synaptic fights Cranium four times, Medulla three times, and Freudian three times. Supposing they win four of those, they go into postseason 5-10.
Postseason:
Medulla:11-4
Cranium:10-5
Freudian:6-9
Synaptic:5-10
This is based solely on past performances. As I see it, the fights that are really decisive will be the Medulla vs Craniums and the Freudian vs Synaptics.

Ben: Nice crystal ball, but a lot can happen between now and then. Overconfidence can be just as deadly as Cowboy's bounce-back-turn-kick-switcheroo attack or Jangles' Yippity-Yap death cannon.
