Last pre season game one member left before the game started in a fit of desperation over his lack of B.M. skillz. Then two remaining players began whining and demanding fp trade them to another team early into the game, Both very annoying and distracting to those who were trying to play. One of these went so far as to attack his own team and declared himself on the other team.
Juvenile to say the least. The other two Team Freudians fought valiantly against great odds.
This was my observation looking over kj's shoulder,

Freudian could use some more quality , not just quantity.Last pre season game one member left before the game started in a fit of desperation over his lack of B.M. skillz. The first official game of the Team Battlemode League season starts this Sunday, after a couple of weeks of intense preseason matches to break in the teams. Unfortunately, we've seen one team fold due to lack of participation. The rest of the teams, for the most part, are going strong. It's impossible to pick an early favorite, and the season is gonna be a tough one!
Kudos to FP for his continued support and direction of the league, to the team captains for organizing their teams, and to the players for their continued enthusiasm (and just plain showin' up on time). As the current record holder for the forum thread with the highest number of posts may suggest (300+), TBL is has become a solid part of the TT community. If you haven't joined a team, then you're really missing out on the fun.
On to the team-by-team preview:
TEAM MEDULLA
Team Medulla has some excellent heavy tank action going on (LC50, Dementus, Michael), but don't overlook the light tanks, with current KOTL Ben, Az, and maybe even RobVanDam. This team has had high attendance from the start, and the team's battle formations have been tough for most teams to crack.
TEAM CRANIUM
Team Cranium has had a a little trouble with attendance, but is composed of some solid players. Chanman in the heavy, Slugthog in a variety of tanks, and Tallly and Jangles in lights has given the other teams a good fight, depsite being outnumbered on several occasions. Racer has provided some support, and if Cranium can get Cowboy to show up to make a 5-tank team, this is gonna be a hard team to beat.
TEAM FREUDIAN
Hugo has his work cut out for him. Leading Team Fredian has been trouble from the start, with poor attendance from many players. There has also been some internal strife and frustration witin the team, to make matters worse. Fillbert, Pheonix, kj, and the rest have definately had some troubles; hopefully the earlier game time, a dose of luck, and a couple of dedicated players may help Team Freudian get back in the game. Otherwise they will be the league's straw man.
TEAM SYNAPTIC
Team Synaptic has had a great run from the start. The light tank trio of Osama, FP, and Alex has been deadly for their opponents. Leopard, Clax, Baklava, and * round out a very dangerous group of light tank terror. Synaptic has their act together.
