FP's TT Battle League

#221 Good going FP, I think the first preseason matches went pretty well. That being said, I think there are a few things to iron out:

1. Need a good way to start games on time. Most of my team was able to show up at a pregame "locker room" that I hosted. From there we all jumped into the game ready to play. It took about 5-10 minutes of chatting with the other team in order to get organized on how to begin the game. Basically we all left to reset the server, then came back in and started playing.

My suggestion for starting games: Everyone meet in the designated game shortly before 7PM. At 7, the captains order their teams to clear the game. Everyone leaves. The captains wait until the room is empty, then the captains enter the game. Once the rest of the teams see BOTH captains in the game (just keep hitting REFRESH button), then they join the game and the battle begins. Short, easy, simple, and all the team has to do is follow the captain's lead. Plus, FP does not have to manually restart the games.

2. Need to know what color team to join, there was a little confusion last night. Naming the server "Medulla (G) vs. Cranium (B)" would do the trick. Alternately, you could post colors on the website schedule, and the captains could relay the info.

3. Maybe Team Freudian should be combined with Team Receptor? What do the captains think about that? Would give us an even number of teams to work with.

4. 7-7:30 PM Pacific Sunday is a good time, I think. (6:30 would be even better) Saturday afternoons are too variable, I never know where I will be on a Saturday. Plus, there is college football.... I think Ben's mom will be happier when we just play 30 minutes during the regular season games (7-7:30), instead of the hour-long Medulla-fest of last night. The 7:30-8 games are just too late for me.

#225 It is same w/ me. My mom does not like me playing on Sundays. I will make it, however, if it does not change. I was gone last sunday at a friends.

I believe 4pm West Coast (PDT) would be 7pm East Coast (EDT).

I would vote for 6pm or perhaps 5pm PDT on Sunday.
4pm (PDT) cuts into the day for us on the West Coast.
Open to compromise for the sake of global peace.

Any time slot between 6 p.m. EDT and 11 p.m. EDT will work. This translates to:

- GMT: 11 p.m. to 4 a.m.
- CDT: 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- MDT: 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
- PDT: 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

- Sydney: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. of the next day (i.e. if it is Sunday evening on the U.S. East coast then it's Monday morning in Sydney)
- Hong Kong: 7 a.m. to noon (same concept as above)
