Torque Game Builder = Torque 2D

sorry folks, I'm old and easily confused. :)

I see T2D and TGB thrown around interchangeably (it seems), but is this an accurate statement?

Are they one in the same now?

That's correct. Torque 2D started out it's life as Torque 2D several years ago when the only way to work with it was through the source code. When the editor was created it was renamed to Torque Game Builder due as it was felt to be a more appropriate name due to the power of the editor and ease of use. Fast forward to a year, year and a half ago, and the name was reverted back to Torque 2D so that our entire line followed the same naming scheme.

It's been a little confusing for newcomers, but we hope to weed out more of the TGB references along with the next update to T2D.

@Scott Burns, That's an interesting bit of information, there. I knew TGB was equal to T2D, but I didn't know why they were used interchangeably. I'll be sure to refer to it as T2D from now on.
