Anyone know a company engaged in making art and design for a game and get paid for that work only.

most people just go to websites that sell art, so it depends on what you are looking for 3D or 2D. The only place for 3D that I know of is

http://turbosquid.com/

Everything else I make :P

Hiya.

I've bought some stuff from Dexsoft Games that I've been completely happy with. I've "known" Frank since, well, since he 'started' (I think) back in the Conitec 3D Game Studio days of v4, iirc. Anyway, great stuff from those guys at Dexsoft ( http://www.dexsoft-games.com/ ).

Haven't bought anything off here myself.. but this seems like a pretty slick 3d asset site: 3docean.net/

You may also be able to find some independent contractors here:

I tinker relentlessly... Before I was tinkering with Torque 3d I was tinkering with Darkbasic.

Plant Life and Tree Magic. Torque should just buy those from the DarkBasic Pro people and include them right in Torque.

I have to export to obj then into blender and out to Collada, and manually map the textures, but earlier this evening I made a whole forest (using the very excellent Forest tool btw) of grass, trees, bushes, rocks, mushrooms, you name it... You need vegitation filler, those two products have you covered at about $20 each you can't go wrong.
