Scrum League: Updates, Changes!

Hi all,
Just in case you havn't noticed, I was away from working on the league for a large portion of the summer. This was for many reasons, not the least of which was simply because I was lazy, but now I am back at it and making several major reoganizations.
#1. Team Captains:
~*~ Implemented in my absence! ~*~
I have decided to implement team captains in the league system to help keep the teams together and working properly. The team captains will be elected by the members of teams that email me with their nomination within a 4-day period, This wednesday through saturday.If this fails I will appoint captains to the teams that no one was nominated in. Team captains will have the ability to shuffle their teams roster and arrange practices.
#2. Talent Pool:
As a tool for the team captains I will be assembling a site that lists all players not currently suspended or playing wiht one of the teams and their email addresses. Captains will be able to use this to recruit new players if they need them.
During the time until saturday I will be setting all this up so that the league can continue normal (and hopefully more stable) operations from now on.

Congrats to the Ground Stompers. We were not into the game and they thoroughly kicked our butts. But they did have some great scrum spawning in their favor! That and the Highlanders' curse just crapped all over us! Thanks goes out to PREY for being tough and hanging around for the entire massacre.Now I know what Amnesia feels like...

Here's the stats for the 4PM PDT Game. Officially it's a win for The Smiling Boots as The Ghost Squadran didnt show up. Being the sportsman that Tal, Jangy and Tanky are, they had me gather a pick up team. I brought da Bums. It was fun to play with some new people enthused about league play. Was a serious game at nitro level intensity.Playing for the Bums but not on the scoreboard was Tanky's daughter who kept Dad distracted. Thanks for playing ALL & here's to the next season!!TSB - 12

Thanks for asking me to sub. Had a good time with all the great talent at the game... Wouldn't mind being on a team next season. Filled out the form last week but no word yet...

Think that Azazel & Jangles were in every league game. Obviously they come to play. Tally and Sherman I believe had perfect attendance? Wouldn't mind forming a team of Prey, WeenTank, MajorPain, Kentucky.. and FleaBiscuit (sp?). Some of the new kids.

Avoid the cursed Hghlanders team. Just start a new team name. ;-)Think that Azazel & Jangles were in every league game. Obviously they come to play. I had the worst lag that I've ever had during that game... a few times I was literally frozen for 20-30 seconds. Afterword I figured out that Windows decided to try and update itself during the game... it's hard enought to play over a 56k modem without competing with that bandwidth monster! LC50

Hey Prey, I'd definitely like to get a team together with ya for next season. Hope those guys are interested in league- I think it'd be a good team...

I've had the same thing happen when Norton AV. decided to scan disk while I was playing. Couldn't figure out why I was the only one with horrible lag...Hey Prey, I'd definitely like to get a team together with ya for next season.
