Scrum League: Updates, Changes!

Hi all,
Just in case you havn't noticed, I was away from working on the league for a large portion of the summer. This was for many reasons, not the least of which was simply because I was lazy, but now I am back at it and making several major reoganizations.
#1. Team Captains:
~*~ Implemented in my absence! ~*~
I have decided to implement team captains in the league system to help keep the teams together and working properly. The team captains will be elected by the members of teams that email me with their nomination within a 4-day period, This wednesday through saturday. If this fails I will appoint captains to the teams that no one was nominated in. Team captains will have the ability to shuffle their teams roster and arrange practices.
#2. Talent Pool:
As a tool for the team captains I will be assembling a site that lists all players not currently suspended or playing wiht one of the teams and their email addresses. Captains will be able to use this to recruit new players if they need them.
During the time until saturday I will be setting all this up so that the league can continue normal (and hopefully more stable) operations from now on.

The league has been dissapointing. Can't get a fair mix for the Highlanders. The first game was won 9 to 8 playing subs for GS 5 vs 4. I switched the other game, which turned into a route for GS. Actually played for both teams the 2nd game as Sherman left during its play. Hope the new season brings full teams. The waiting list looks big. I wouldn't mind playing for a permanent team next season. Hope the games are in the evening, weekdays are my preference. -PREY

I have removed the three players from the league that havn't showed up for a game this season. If any of those players want to be included again they must email me at scrumball_1@hotmail.com concerning it.
This means that there are three new spots open in the teams. Team captains, fill them.
Concerning teams. I also have reached the conclusion that teams of 8-10 are needed to get a decent lineup every week. If the whole ten-tank team is showing up every week then shifts will have to be arranged to control it. Team captains: It would be great if I could fill out your teams to a 10-tank number by this coming friday and email me the roster. Feel free to email each other so that one person doesn't get stuck on 2 teams :) and check out the current website rosters to see the people I currently list you as having.
Next, I've set up a chatroom for use with the scrumleague. People will be able to meet here before the game and organize rosters, non-team members can show up and act as subs if needed etc. In general I hope the chatroom will help the attendance to games go more smoothly.
As for a new play time, which I think is very much needed, Its obvious that evenings are best for most people. Tuesdays and thrusdays don't work for me. Most nights around 9PST(or is it still PDT) I run. However, one time that would work well for me would be monday night anywhere from 7pm to 10pm. How would that work for everyone else?
Other than that, I'm going to start trying much harder to get at least weekly updates out. I'm also gonna try to email reminders out every day before a game.
Lastly, actions speak better than words so visit the scrum leaguge site. I have added blank spaced for the soon-to-be-added members of the teams and have implemented the chatroom as well.
Thanks,
Loler
