Scrum League: Updates, Changes!

Hi all,
Just in case you havn't noticed, I was away from working on the league for a large portion of the summer. This was for many reasons, not the least of which was simply because I was lazy, but now I am back at it and making several major reoganizations.
#1. Team Captains:
~*~ Implemented in my absence! ~*~
I have decided to implement team captains in the league system to help keep the teams together and working properly. The team captains will be elected by the members of teams that email me with their nomination within a 4-day period, This wednesday through saturday.If this fails I will appoint captains to the teams that no one was nominated in. Team captains will have the ability to shuffle their teams roster and arrange practices.
#2. Talent Pool:
As a tool for the team captains I will be assembling a site that lists all players not currently suspended or playing wiht one of the teams and their email addresses. Captains will be able to use this to recruit new players if they need them.
During the time until saturday I will be setting all this up so that the league can continue normal (and hopefully more stable) operations from now on.

Few issues here to clear up.
#1: Server: The scrum league server is (or was) a Homelan server if I recall correctly. Therefore there isn't much I can do if Homelan pulled their server support or is having tech problems.
#2: Motion: I will agree to let TD take the reigns if the league wants him to. I agree that I am probably not availiable as much as needed to make the league run smoothly but the problem hasn't been just with that. I cannot make people show up at games, if they don't want to they won't. I hope captains will start taking greater action against no showers (I know I am one. I may have to resign from my team as saturday is no longer free for me. I have not made more teams to enlist new players in because we are having trouble getting full teams out as it is.
Well, thanks for the good times all. TD, if you want to do this I will give you the login info to the scrum league site. I think you may be able to do a better job than me.

In your absence, TT has grown a lot and it seems managing the league is much more of a time consuming task. Also, I enjoy playing with the veterans and miss your involvement for that reason as well.
As I stated I for one would love for you to continue if your schedule permitted. TD would make a great manager but he hasn't said he's available for that yet. Perhaps you two should discuss it.

Loler you do deserve a whole lot of credit for starting the league way back when, and coming up with a great website for us all. I think you made a huge contribution to the communityIn your absence, TT has grown a lot and it seems managing the league is much more of a time consuming task. 2- Indeed we (the players) would like a manager who can do updates as quickly as possible. It is not that much time consuming, just to do a quick update and to upload the page. I'm familiar with FTP so even me, as a captain, could log in after a game, update the stats and upload the refreshed page.
The impossibility of you doing regular updates led me to suggest the motion. Hopefully TD will speak to us,,,

1- Loler don't resign from the team, we need you. The times will change - the games won't be just saturday afternoons (which seemed to be awkward for most) but might well be mainly evenings. I suppose more than 1 game a week as well! (The psychoscrum run well, with good showing... Games are at 9CDT, 2 games a week.)2- Indeed we (the players) would like a manager who can do updates as quickly as possible. I think what most people ultimately want is a well organized league and some good competive games(and to win, of course :).
Not someones head on a pike.
Adjustments to the teams (signing up more than 5 players to ensure good attendence) and times (hopefully evenings not mid afternoon) will help pit balanced teams against each other.
Onward to the new Scrum League!

There's been a lot of frustration and a lot of venting. I think what most people ultimately want is a well organized league and some good competive games(and to win, of course :).
Not someones head on a pike.
Adjustments to the teams (signing up more than 5 players to ensure good attendence) and times (hopefully evenings not mid afternoon) will help pit balanced teams against each other.
Onward to the new Scrum League!

We have discussed the direction and problems of the league at great length but there is still no consensus of direction on several topics. #1 Tuesdays 9pm EST
#2 Wednesday 9pm EST and

Well I found sub players for GS but the length of time it took we had some players drop during the game. Plus team switching going on to even things out. Thus the following stats are only the game ending ones. If your individual stats dont reflect your point total just post and I'll edit them in. Thx.

Sorry (esp. to my team) that I had to leave during game 2. As it is with every Saturday, I have an appointment at 2:45 PST which I must respect. If the games start on time then I can stay for their entirety.
Now , I believe that in the second game I had 5 pts. b4 I left. Does anyone in the game remember this? (I hope I'm not remembering a different game). If so, then do my 5 pts. count? I also thought we won game one by 1 point?
I may just be seeing things....
