#2 i used to use engine some, now im trying out builder for my current project. i click documentation. and torque tutorials homepage. it says i have to log in. thats fine, i log in and it tells me daniel. your display name is in use.
i just have no clue why its in use. i havent changed it since i created my account. did the computer let someone else come along and push me aside?

#3 Ah, you were on TDN. TDN references the old system from back in the day where accounts on the site had multiple different name fields. There was the username, which was used to log in and display names, which were what was displayed in the forums. I believe there may have even been a real name field as well that wasn't public and was used for billing purposes. When the site was redesigned 3 years ago this extra fields were culled down to a single account name.

Here's where the issue comes into play, TDN pulls its account display names from those dead fields. If you had another account with the same name, which is possible to do in the current site, then TDN would see that as a conflict and produce the error.

I think we came up with a workaround for it but I'll have to dig through some emails to see if it worked or not. Shoot me an email with a link to your account and I'll look into it.
