Question about model hierarchy in Blender 2.5x
by Justin Scott David · in Torque 3D Professional · 06/22/2011 (1:27 pm) · 2 replies
I started using Blender 2.5x earlier this year. It seems to work quite well for Torque, but I'm still not sure how to set up the hierarchy for the weapon model I've been working on.

I saw that people were still referencing this weapon creation tutorial from several years ago, saying most of its content is still valid, so I used its information as a base.

Setting up my model's hierarchy similarly to that, the dae2dts converter app works, but reports this message: "Object mesh "shotgun" has no matching detail ("detail2" has been added automatically)"
Can anyone help me to alleviate this issue? I've scoured the internet for months looking for the answers to this, so if someone has already explained this somewhere else and I missed it, please point me in the proper direction. Thank you.

He likes to draw, and model in 3D, and maybe soon he'll have some cool Torque-related stuff to show!

I did see that in an earlier post I found, but looking at it again, I think I see something I missed before. Thanks, I'll let you know if it works.
