It's been a while!

I started with torque in 2006 and when garagegames went tgea and beyond I got out of it. Seems like a lot has happened since I left but I'm back. I just bought T3d and I feel very behind the curve. I'm not looking to do pro gaming. I just want to have fun. I used to use quark, DeleD, torque constructor and milkshape for models. What kind of programs can you suggest for making and easily exporting some simple .DTS models?

In the meantime I guess I will spend the next few days glancing over the docs. One more thing.... there used to be a lot more than three pages of resources for the "TGE" section... Why are there so few resources now? I know it's a dinosaur compared to T3D but it's not worthless. Just wondering.

Many thanks,

Andrew

Welcome back.
I'd suggest using what you have. (minus quark) (they are the same programs I use) .dif is pretty much gone, but if you have .map files you want to turn into collada, DeleD has a great .map importer and collada exporter that drop right into T3D.
