I had it as 5-3 for Demantia.
(It was Amnesia up 3-2 as of Brains pre game post on Thursday the 13th,
Dementia won that game and games on the 17th and 20th, =5-3)

Do we have a stable and robust server for tonights Amnesia turnaround ?

Seeing how perhaps the ranks of Amnesia need shall we say some more support, how about we increase the rosters to 12? Whomever shows plays. No subs! We can take the week to recruit and start #4 next Monday. Will the usual suspects please chime in here.

#270 Sounds good az. Our triggerman are flaking on us (FP and Tankster) we need some people with steady aim and steady attendance. Hillbilly is pretty much official amnesia material I would say. Ge0rge you up to being a turn-around artist?
Tal we're missing you! Don't be discouraged by a few minor upsets, our ranks are swelling and confidence booming. Dementia ranks are rife with defections and outlaws. The future is bright.

#271 I'd say we should have 2 more teams (4 teams). There is so many peeps wanting in, it's ridiculous to jam them in the 2 existing teams. Plus it would reinvigorate the Scrum league. After 2-3 months of the same club of 15-20 players, we should expand the membership!

I'm willing to 'manage' this 3rd league - it would be based on this forum, with a bi-weekly update of rooster and score. Would be like 'THE 3rd PSYCHOSCRUM LEAGUE' or something. Would follow along the existing lines (2 games a week, same time). Also with captains with power to recruit, etc.

I suggest a 'fresh' start, but Amnesia and Dementia could keep their core players, however some old-timers could leave for the 2 new teams. I for one would desert (traitor!) to a new team. The way I see that right now Dementia is invicible. Not good. We had that with The Ground Stompers in the first Scrum league - an invicible team.

The 2 new teams would quickly fill up like crazy. eg Yesterday i met the (BB), that is BeepBeep(56k) Gerbil and Norky. Could be the core of a 3rd team right there.

Yesterday I switched & played Amnesia because I was frustrated about playing 5 vs 4 and being on the winning team (yes I prefer being with the underdogs). Nonetheless Dementia played a masterpiece game and sliced us all right. GGs

If a core of you old-timers agree, the 3rd PSYCHOSCRUM LEAGUE could be up and running by Thursday. If not, well...

#272 Aye hb, i'm with you. perhaps it is time to put psycho on ice till td returns and expand the roster a bit. 28 players, 7 a side? sounds good to me. i could help with the visual stuff if need be.

#273 No problem with a shake-up here, just keep in mind that numbers can be deceiving. Despite the large roster on both teams currently we are having a hard time getting 5 to show up to every game. Last minute recruiting has plugged some gaps but that is not ideal.
Your right though, many more want in (there had been talk of a saturday scrum league revival) and should have a place to plug in.

#275 You bet, Baba! I'm in for either plan, really: 2-team or 4-team. Baba does have a good point on the week-in week-out attendance (I never thought I'd have trouble getting 10 softball players each week from a roster of 20-f'en-3...). But the wider teaming would help to quickly expand the ranks of the top group of players, and I am all for exponential growth of TT'ers!

I'd like to get in on this action... New Team, Expanded team... Doesn't matter to me, so long as I get to whoop a little ass playing scrum... It's all good :-)

#277 The captain would have the duty to recruit new players and fire absent ones as well. The goal of a league is to keep the teams' rosters ACTIVE, in order to have 5x5 games. HB

#278 HB: just a point about a brave new beginning starting on Thursday. It is Thanksgiving here in the USA (not even sure if it is celebrated much north of the border) and will likely mean less people than usual will make the game(s). Perhaps no major launch till Monday or later.

#279 I guess league expansion is probably the best option available. The AM/DM rivalry has provided entertainment beyond just playing matches, but adding players to the teams means that many more won't get to participate when the server fills up. Hopefully an infusion of new players & teams combined with some redistribution of existing talent will be the ticket to having some more evenly populated/matched bouts.


I don't plan on movin anytime soon...
