Hi, I am trying to make an MRPG, called The Free World. It's more of a sandbox thing, involving players being able to make things and cut down vegetation and all that, and may end up needing a lot of work.
I am looking for experienced programmers to work with and learn from.
Now, here's the punchline: Being Self-Funding(I think thats the known term around here..) I have no spare cash to pay you with, so this is an entirely vulonteer job. You will, however, get your name in the credits, and the rights to run your own server of this game. That is all I can guaruntee.
If, however, we get a marketable release out, and start generating revenue off of this, you will be given a share of profits.
But since I intend to make this a free-to-play game, you would be living off of donations and be praying someone buys an exorbitantly priced server liscense.
I need people who know C++ and Torque(of course) And modelers/animators, since I can't draw any graphics worth even glancing at.
If interested, leave a post here, and possible join my SourceForge project. thefreeworld.sf.net
Please note that I am only using SourceForge for Subversion and its other features. I do not intend to make this open source, but rather I will pull an updater_studio and discontinue the project on sourceforge, as soon as I find somewhere better.

Visual Studio 2010 crapped out on me, did't want to compile. Somehow it couldnt see the .h file that WAS RIGHT THERE?
Really could use that C++ person..
Also, I will be updating subversion repository to have different branches and better organize the jobs, i.e, in one folder is the 3d models and instructions what to do with them, in another it the C++ I want added to the engine(like the SQLite code...)
