Suggestions from a n00b

Overall I think that TT is a great game - a rare case of "simple is better" gaming. I do have a few things that I would like to see added to ThinkTanks. Many of these involve power-ups, but please note that the powerup suggestions do not really add much complexity to the game, they simply add new ways to expose elements that are already there (i.e., weight).
But first, regarding the solo game: I travel a lot. That means spending about 12-16 hours a week on a plane, usually in little 2-hour chunks. I can't play online games on a plane. Seriously. So I play solo games. TT sucks for this purpose, however, because there is no SAVE function. I have to play levels 1 - 3 every time (boring) and even if I'm doing really well I'd have to shut down before getting too far. If only I could save my game and continue later... even just the ability to chose which previously-completed levels I could start from would make me happy.
OK, now for the overall game-play:
1. More types of power-ups. examples:
a. "turbo" powerup (makes tank go 2x as fast)
b. "weight" powerup (and power-downs) make tank heavier or lighter
c. "homing" powerup. Think the bounce-back powerup, but with less bounce and a gravity towards nearby tanks.
d. "possessed by satan" powerup. Allows 360 movement of turret.
2. More types of weapons/powerups. I've separated these because they would require an alternate fire key to activate.
a. Jump powerup (jump a'la the jump pad at will)
b. Afterburner powerup - same concept, but with forward thrust.
c. Mines. Pretty self-explanatory.
d. Area-denial powerup. The shot explodes on impact and creates a dozen bounce-back projectiles that spread out in all directions.
3. Game/HUD/UI ideas
a. More audio feedback. Speed, turning/skidding, brakes, etc. should have distinctive sound indications (if they do already maybe I am going deaf)
b. Semi-Persistent tracks would be awesome. The tanks would leave tread-marks in the grass, etc.
4. More (a few more anyway) tank types/skins.
Thats all for now, folks!

Be able to use the keyboard's arrow keys to select through the list of online servers would be nice!
The new version's solo game is much easier now, but at the cost of scoring fewer point per level. I liked the older version better.
A Save feature would be good, but maybe after 2 or 3 levels?
Also, some "love taps" that you hardly "feel" when another tank steals the scrum from you should have some kind of sound feedback.

Nit-picky things: Be able to use the keyboard's arrow keys to select through the list of online servers would be nice!
