poly count limits

im just wondering where i can find doxumention on poly count limits and texture sizes for torque, if looked at the docs ive found but havent foubd any poly count info

im just curious cause im used to modding crysis and was wondering how torque compares, i have a quad core pc with 4 vid cards in crossfire i dont have issues but in crysis ppl with lower end machines tend to lag playing the mod i work with. 2048x2048 is the biffest texture we use and still have ppl having memory issues.i to have dx11

I personally have used 4096x4096 images without issue (relatively high end hardware)
I have also had scenes with upwards of 4 million polys reported, clearly not optimised and again on relatively high end hardware.
in theory DX 11 hardware supports 8k and 16k textures, in practice i cant see any use for such things in a real time rendering environment, well i can but not within the realm we are in.
I'm also somebody will chip in with a more technical angle on how polys are less important than drawcalls and such :)
