My Game Idea "Plains of Existence" help

Hello first I would like to tell you about it =)

The game is a Shooter/skill multiplayer environment.

There are two side to "PoE" The futuristic Militarized Faction known as United Continents of Drez,
as well as Alchemical Union .

Alchemical Union
On a World where war Ravaged For Thousands of years between Alchemist Guilds for Total reign over the landscape, There was a Horror born from the ashes of the Dead and the Blood from the living to in-scrip
Upon the Believer to Bestow Unstoppable Powers to Conquer all.

United Continents of Drez
In a Land Driven by Economics and Scientific Worship , Once a planet of War but has long sense settled its differences now struggles to keep its spoiled children happy. Is desperate for a new source of energy to fuel its scientific campaign.

The Conflict
I all begins in a underground Facility know only as FERN where scientist finally think they have solved all of there power issues with a new type of element know as Antimatter. The Testings went sour and what happens next was something the scientist never foreseen.
The antimatter once left its containment field and touched a Piece of matter in this case a small piece of sheet metal its reaction created what at first seemed like a window into some world where they saw a people who at first glance seem like a peaceful Race of humanoids. And so let the campaign begin to reap the natural resources of The AU.


UCoD- Locked FPS Mode only
This group is based of a ranking system much like the game Battlefield 2
Where ranks allow certain types of weapons
Weapons they may use : Rail Guns , Beam weaponry, Cloaking , Personal Missiles ex.

AU optional 3rd person or FPS
These guys are limited to using Revolver style Guns "duel wielding, definitely" think hellboy
They will also be on a Gate unlock System where they will have 8-16 gate unlock each allows for
different configurations of Visual Modification in the form of tattoos to create Skills to inhibit the firepower of The UCOD or to Create special FirePower skills for their Revolvers.

The maps
These will be laid out as two planets intersecting with one another
With different style of play (Flag,Deathmatch,FFA,more)

Your help
I need you to give me your impute on my idea here , is it good? is it bad? what could I change?

Also from a technical standpoint Im an Artist not a coder or anything like that . Where should i begin?
Terrain? Character customizing ? Weapon making? General scrips for the game? help me out.
Also I would also op for a MMO version but I think i need to start with a lobby style first
what do you all think?

If you're an artist looking to put together a team, my advice would be to do a load of artwork ahead of time. Game ideas are all well and good, but what gets people motivated to work on your project is the knowledge that you're working on the project as well, and that you can deliver for your specific set of skills. So...

- Do concept art for your levels, GUI, characters, etc.
- After that, make some models and show them in-game, or create some GUI artwork and show that off in-game.
- Rinse, blog, and repeat.

People will be able to follow your progress, and even though you don't have your specific game features coded into the game, you have assets that you have the skills to create in there, and the better you do with that, the better your chances of finding other artists and a coder or two to help you out in finishing it off.

Honestly, I think it's easier for an artist to attract the attention of a coder with art than it is for a coder to attract artists with features being shown with blocks and programmer art ;)
