Programmer Looking for Project/Experience

A little about myself -
1. Avid mature gamer. Been gaming for many years and will continue on for many more. I enjoy waiting till games are under $10 to purchase. I don't care about graphics, its all about the game play and story line to me.
2. I'm a software engineering student, so I have an educational background if that matters.
3. I've done work on 2d and 3d opensource multiplayer engines (between school and fun) though nothing besides tutorials for torque.
4. I don't want to work on a fps, hate those. If I'm not enjoying it, I won't accomplish anything. :P
5. I have plenty of my own ideas but want to hit the ground running. I don't want to have to bother with arranging all the additional contracting I would need to complete my own projects. If we establish a good repertoire I'll share and develop my ideas with a good team.
6. I'm not looking to be a part of the next MMO, I want a short term project that we can complete in a few months.
7. I don't expect any compensation unless the game hits production and is being sold for profit.
8. I want to learn from you as you gain from me.
