Spawning animated sprite

Is there a way to spawn an animated sprite? I found the tutorial for creating them, but I'm actually looking to shoot an animated missile.

I've gotten to where I can shoot a static missile by following the shooter tutorial.

If there's another tutorial I could look at, it'd be great!

Any help is greatly appreciated.
