GUI bug in GUI Builder..

by Vladislav Kostin · in Torque Game Builder · 02/13/2011 (4:28 am) · 9 replies

I can't see any rollout name, and many other controls of the GUI Builder it self. Its absolutely imposible to work in it.

How can i solve this problem?

Unfortunatly I dont know how to paste the screenshot here.

@Vladislav - I'm not sure what's going on here. The GUI Builder does not act this way for me. You will definitely need to post a screen shot. Use our image tags:

Just remove the slash in the first tag.

If you have web hosting, you can upload the screenshot to your site and then use the image tags (click that "MarkupLite is enabled" link for all the tags you can use) to show your image. Also, when posting for help like this, also post your OS, graphics card, and display resolution. It helps people help you :)

Edit: I don't type fast enough...

To build on what Ted said, if you are going to tag something as a bug, use this format: Bug Reporting Standards

I have Windows7, NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250, 1920x1080.

Here is screen:

Actually its not that bad.. I increased the brightness of the monitor and found the rollout names)) And then i found the dynamic fields. It turned out that unlike GameBuilder, i need FIRST to hit the green button, and THEN i can edit them. They are invisible until i click on them, but its ok).

But there is one more thing:

xmages.net/storage/10/1/0/3/d/upload/2a10d482.png
That is window with two rollouts...

I have no idea what's going on in that second image. Can you list your steps to reproduce that?

Open TGB > GUI Builder > Open Palette > Drug and drop GuiRolloutControl. First rollout on the picture is expanded, I guess.

Thanks. We'll queue up testing for this when we can.

GuiBitmapBorder is looks like this too. And some other elements behave a little weird, but im not sure.

Although Editor is often crashes when I'm deleting and selecting controls.

Thank you for support.
