Unable to open project! (SOLVED)

Solution
So I just bought iTorque 2D and am super excited to get going with it. I have 1 game in the appstore already(obviously not from torque) and think this is a great engine to help me move along. I was using the demo for torque 2D and that has been working fine for me, however whenever I try to open or create a project in iTorque it gives the error cannot open project. It also gives me error when I start the program. I can't do anything with it right now! Any ideas?
PS I'm on windows Vista, I will try to load it up on my mac, however I really want to be able to do most of the work on my laptop. :P

Thanks for the response, unfortunately if I understand correctly(open the iT2D editor then from there open the project) that is what I am currently doing. When I open up the editor I immediately get the error message 'Unable to open project'.(For whatever reason it is trying to open my last project even though I have not made any projects yet) Then when I try to create a new project it gives me the same error and if I try to open a project file I get the same error again. I uninstalled T2D and iT2D then reinstalled just iT2D but I'm still getting the same error.

This is a problem I am having as well. I've used an older version of iTorque when I was employed at a different studio and that one worked fine right after the download (it was iTorque 1.2). This one here gives me the same warning when I try to create a project for the first time on iTorque, or if I try to load a project I've been working on with TGB.

This might solve the problem. It seems that Windows 7 has an issue with admin rights in the installed directory of iTorque. this Forum post here should cover what to do. You'll need to temperarily unlock the iTorque folder to all users in order to get rid of the problem.http://www.garagegames.com/community/forums/viewthread/119243

Thanks for the link. I went into the actual folder and ran the actual program as administrator and now it seems to be working. Before I tried running the shortcut on the desktop as administrator and it didn't do anything, however since I went into the folder and did it everything seems to be ok!?! I will keep watching it, but for the time being I seem to be good. Thanks!

I modified the post so newcomers can see the solution. 9 times out of 10 this error is a result of the Windows security system. I'm heavily considering modifying the way iTorque 2D generates new projects, which would include a full source copy upon creation. This would allows us to place the new game projects in locations Windows trusts and still allow for compiling of the source.

also if it was a torque2d project on the desktop you must bring it into the expected structure for iT2D first
