Does iTorque do the same as Torque2D?

Hi I'm confused if iTorque has the same features as Torque 2D, and if games created on it can be run on PC/Mac? Cheers.

Okay thanks, so if i made a game in Torque2D I could always port it across so long as I had an iTorque licence?

And yes you could port a game over if you have both licenses.

Widely the same features one should say, cause iTGB has discontinued the (out of my view useless) Shape3D support so you can't drop 3d objects in anymore. And yes you could port a game over if you have both licenses.

You'd need both an iTorque license and an App Store license ($99/year) from Apple. You'd also need a Mac on which to do the porting work, and ideally an iDevice or two for testing purposes.

Yeah I have a Mac and a few iOS devices. I knew about the App Store license. I only actually want to make a shoot'em up game for my girlfriend for christmas so wouldn't be looking to sell it on the App Store or make any money from it, it'd be more of a personal present for her.

still needs the iOS developer license though just to be on the sure side, you can't deploy to the device without it.
