Torque 2D - no source code

#21 Ok, quick update. The root cause of the problem has been fixed which was the wrong version of T2D being added to the cart. Anyone attempting to purchase T2D now should be receiving T2D Pro.

For everyone that ended up purchasing the wrong version because of this. Give us a moment to come up with a plan of attack on resolving this, there's a couple people I need to talk to about it that are in a meeting at the moment.

So we came up with best way to resolve this and pulled the trigger on it. Everyone that was affected by this should now have T2D Pro and not T2D.

A couple notes on the fix. For accounting purposes you should know that the SKU number the transaction were processed with is no longer correct. The transactions were processed as Torque 2D but just let your accounting depts or note in your personal ledgers, etc, that the transaction was actually for Torque 2D Pro.

The ignition key from the binary version is still in your accounts. We didn't want to run the risk any unforeseen issues arising from removing them. Just know that with the Pro version you have no need for them as it does not require activation. We just ask that you not give this key away to anyone.

So I'm confused. I purchased the T2D a couple days ago, so does that mean I have download and install the entire program again, or is there some upgrade i have to download for my version?

Yes you'll have to download and install it again. Make sure to uninstall the binary version first.

I purchased T2D four days before the price cut and I was wondering if I could be bumped up to the pro version. I had sent an email out but never got a response. Could you look into this for me thanks it would be much appreciated.

#30 Four days before the price cut, the upgrade to Pro was $150. Now it's $99. I fail to see the problem. :-)

#31 The problem is that he spent $100 on the binary version already, but it was four days before this magical 'get it for $99' event.

I'm kind of upset about it and I made my purchase in November.

#32 You're upset that upgrading to Pro is $51 cheaper now than it was before the sale? Would you be happier if it was still $250 for Pro, and the non-Pro version simply disappeared?

The thing is I can't even upgrade. For me to get the source I'll have to pay $99 instead of $50. You failing to see a problem is a matter of opinion which you are entitled to so thanks for your input its' what keeps the community going. I purchased a product that went on sale in less than a week. I'm not asking for my money back at all, I am asking for is if I could also receive the source as well, because I did pay same amount and GG wouldn't be inconvenienced with providing it to me.

Will we have some discount (less than $99) or, hmm.. source code for free? ;)
