Compatibility Issues

Hello, I recently downloaded the installer of the Torque game builder, and when I ran it, I got this error:
The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need and x86(32 bit) or x64(64 bit) version of this program.
Has anyone else had this problem? If it helps here are my laptop specs:
Hp Pavilion dv6-3013nr
Windows 7 as the OS
Premium vision AMD
I also recently installed Visual Studio 2010 as well if that helps
