Hi,
I would like to make an online game
Making a client / server and be able to accept more than 2 persons at the same time
Is it possible with torque ?
If yes, Torque 2D or 3D ?
I need to purchase any addons?
Thank you
My budget is 1000$ , not interested in purchasing source code

You have a tiny budget, and (judging by your question) practically no experience. That being the case, "do not make an MMO" is good advice. Although, I would amend it to "do not make an MMO yet - learn to walk before you try to run."

@Jean-Philippe - Read the thread again. It doesn't say "do not make a mmo". It lists all the challenges you face, the tech you choose being the least of your challenges. You will need source code, you will need a decent team, you will need solid development/artists/management skills, and you will need a lot of cash.

But yeah, you're going to lay out far more than $1000 for an MMO, and you'll definitely need the source code.

@Jean-Philippe: When I wrote that, the whole gist of the thread was "don't make an MMO unless you (generally) follow these steps". It doesn't say not to make one at all.But yeah, you're going to lay out far more than $1000 for an MMO, and you'll definitely need the source code.
