edit: it was a syntax. an extra "}". Which leads to another question. Why would iTGB not see this?
HI there,
I have a quick question,
I tried to run my TGBGame in order to reset all dso's. But it crashes, will not load. I was thinking there must be a syntax somewhere but when I look in the iTGB Console there is none reported. Does anyone have any other suggestions as to how I might be able to remedy this?
Thanks

By the way, if you ever try to run your TGB game on your computer, and your level doesn't load, then you most likely have sort of error in your script. Try looking at the console.log file in the 'tgb' folder next time that happens. It usually will show you where your mistake is.

I was just thinking that any script error would appear. That is not the case.
Would the Torsion better help in this regard?

I don't think there is a version of Torsion for Mac, but, yes, Torsion would help tremendously, if you're running your game on a PC. However, I don't think Torsion works if you are running your game on an iOS device or the iOS simulator, which makes sense as there is no Mac version of it.

Not to sound stupid, but why would Torsion (or not Torsion) matter if I am running my game on an iOS? It is only the script that counts doesn't it? A good old fashioned .cs file.

Well, I suppose if you are ONLY using script files, then your game logic should probably work the same on your iOS device. If you mostly do your testing in Windows, and you are only using script files, then it is a very good idea to get Torsion. You can write, edit, run, and debug all your scripts through that program. I would imagine that running and testing Torque games on Windows without it would be a nightmare...
