Flurry : Analytics for your game

Guys,

Thought you might be interested if you don't already know ... Appular asked us to include analytics in our upcoming titles; IWT and NeoDefender, using the Flurry engine:

http://www.flurry.com/

It's pretty cool, now we know stuff like:

- how long a user played a game
- how many times they played it
- how far they got
- what strategies they used e.g. which weapons they bought in NeoDefender and how and when they were deployed
- which control system they favored
etc etc

The plan is (assuming we get some decent sales) to look at what players like / don't like and therefore improve the game through updates etc.

My colleague, An, did the integration for us but by all accounts it was very straightforward.

Personally I use Localytics.com for my metrics gathering. I did look at Flurry but steered away from it due to a certain high up person with the initials SJ really (*really*) hating Flurry.
