Problem with _saveGameConfigurationData

Hello,

I am having issues getting game configuration data saved. I call _saveGameConfigurationData, but when I open the commonConfig.xml file, the data has not been saved. There is no problem with the path, because the data is loaded properly, and when _saveGameConfigurationData is called, there is no error message.

Any ideas?
