Hi All
I am going to Develop the Walk Through Project. The Project Should run without graphics card + Minimum Level of Requirements. We dont want any Shaders or advanced concepts in this Project.
My Question is Which engine i have to use? Shall i have to go for Tge 1.5 or
If i have developed this Project in Torque 3d.Shall it run without graphics card ? because i am going to develop without advanced concepts such as shaders etc.
Please Suggest Which Engine i have to use?

Make it easy on yourself and go with TGE. T3D and on board chip sets = (head+desk)*N

All game engines support diffuse maps/color maps/base texture maps.
Perhaps you're meaning to ask about something else ?
// No need to bold your words dude...you could have found your answers if you used the search feature..or even googled the question. Forums archive posts purposely so that new guys can SEARCH them! :P

TGEA will need to be tweaked to do that..and essentially that is what you have with TGE.All game engines support diffuse maps/color maps/base texture maps.

Quote:Better question: will any modern computer actually run a "real game" without a graphics card? I avoid onboard chips like the plague ;)

The last project I worked on before coming to InstantAction used T3D and had to work well on on-board only equipment as well. In my experience, the Intel GMA 965 chipset, or anything newer than that, should work without a problem, 950 can work but it can be a little hit and miss depending on the environment and the 945 or lower is more or less a lost cause. The beta testing of that project had some 945 systems work and some not.
We've been working on improving the performance of the engine on low spec hardware as well.
