New version??

So I saw the news on this sight posted 8/15 re: new version. I've owned Orbz a couple of months. I downloaded new version and put in the key I already bought. Nothing. Have to buy new key for each new version? Anyway, that's what I did. When I got in I don't see anything different in from last Orbz. Am I missing something? I've checked every course and every menue. No diff in vid either (as advertised?) What did I pay the 2nd 20 bucks for?? Aditionally, for my $20, my game name was wiped of the high scores lists for the medal challenges. This can't be right. And while I'm checking - I only see about 4 servers. Is that right? I absolutely love this game and you guys did a great job! I just see why a paid agian for same thing.

What is profiling? One of the reasons I was interested is I play on a laptop (compaq EVO 610C) and everything is great but after a while I start getting these spinning, moving colored 'planes' in my veiw. They come from stars, boxes and other orbz. I had hoped 2.1 would help. Anyway, I'm going to purshase a desktop in a week or so with good graphics so no problem.
When do you expect a new full version, new maps and all that?

I'll send the mail to GG as the original key did not work. Was one of the 2.1 changes lowering gold medal points on a couple of challenges?What is profiling? Profiling means taking a look at your video card and trying to start with the appropriate settings. In your case it sounds like as if it runs fine to start with, but then degrades over time, which may be attributable to older video card drivers or not meeting minimum video card specs.
The next version of Orbz isn't planned out quite yet. However, we very likely will release the editor with the Orbz-specific features in the next version at the very least.

If you own Orbz, then your previous key should work. Did you buy it from GarageGames? If so, and the previous key does not work, let GG know by sending them a support email from this page.
Version 2.1 is an incremental update, which includes a variety of minor features, bug fixes, a full version demo with time limitation instead of feature limitation, and video card profiling. That last is what we mentioned prominently on the 15th. If you already can run the game fine with your machine, then you'll see no difference. But there were some people who were having trouble with their video card, and the video card profiling helps insure those people can play the game.
If you registered your handle to participate in the internet high scores list, then your handle should still work. The internet high score lists roll over regularly, so that might explain why you aren't seeing your scores on the medal challenges.
