Anyone have an educational license?

Hi all,
Has anyone actually succeeded in getting an educational license to work with Torque? I've emailed Jeff T. about obtaining one but haven't heard back in over a week. If you've gotten one, what were the terms (i.e. costs, restrictions, etc.)?
Thanks,
Dauphin

Yeah the only type of educational licence there is is for universities and schools to be able to teach students with it.

ie email gets lost, etc. And you can't expect them to notice every single post made on the forums.
Also, since this is outside the two "normal" licensing options avaiable for TGE (indie and commercial), I suspect it might be dealt with on a case by case basis.
And to finish, as Matthew pointed out, this is not an individual academic license like you can get for certain M$ products, Metrowerks' CodeWarrior, etc., but something more akin to what is generally called a site license.
So if you are in the position of making and negotiating such an acquisition for your institution, by all means, contact them directly, if not by phone, by snail mail (maybe recommended, so it doesn't suffer from the same hurdles as email ;))

And if you're someone at an academic institution looking to license TGE for a comp sci, design or architecture department, I'd use the phone to call and discuss it with them. ie email gets lost, etc. And you can't expect them to notice every single post made on the forums.

We are talking $100 for an engine that could be sold for thousands upon thousands of dollars. I don't think they can go lower than that.
BTW Jeff is busy starting another business and said he probably won't be around for about a month or so.
