Concept artist/ Illustrator for hire...

by Sean Tourangeau · in Jobs · 10/15/2010 (12:01 am) · 0 replies

Sean has always had a creative side since he was a kid. He would always be doodling on any piece of paper he could find. He attended the Art Institute of Seattle, originally wanting to be a comic book artist. There he learned quickly to embrace as many forms of art and design as he could. In the 20 years since, he has worked in many creative fields from educational software to print/digital advertising design. He worked at Microsoft in the early years of MSN before gaining 13 years experience with a major yellow page/ telecommunication company as a graphic designer who took care of print and digital needs. In total, he has 25 years of freelance experience varying from design to illustration. Recently, he also gained experience in concept art for independent films. The reason he is called Trek is for his love for a certain franchise with Trek in its name. He has also designed a ship for that franchise and is published through Simon Schuster internationally! In the early 2000s he moved from Seattle to Colorado Springs with his wife Carmen. When he is not being creative, you can see him volunteering with local animal-rescue groups.
