Kicking off a web deployment project in T3D

A couple of questions for those who may have the answers:

1) There is a beta build (1.1 beta 3) floating around the news items. Is this going to turn into a stable release in the very near future, i.e., should that be the base for people starting a new project in T3D right now?

2) What is the situation with the support for Snow Leopard? If thats the only thing holding back T3D from claiming all out OS X support, I do hope that it is a prioritized todo for the dev team. As of now, we will be developing our product with no OS X support, because no Snow Leopard, means no OS X as far as the public visiting a browser game is concerned. Am I on the right track with my assumptions?

3) How stable is the web deployment system/performance. Can we close our eyes and lay all bets on a decent cross-browser installation experience for our Windows visitors?
