Site is looking better - I'm guessing you're seeing some additional traffic with the coverage on Mac Gamer.
I was loading the page on my 56k connection at home and noticed some of your thumbnails of your favorite screenshots are between 200-400k (I'd keep them to 20K for thumbnails and let the quality shot come up when clicked on). The headlines are pretty readable in the grey on black, but the text I have to select to read, maybe my older eyes.
Good luck can't wait to see news on the results of tonights event.

in other news, i played as a heavy 2 rounds of scrum today. very amusing. i flat out camp, but not to score, just trying to deny everyone goals, as tho i'm playing ctf one on everyone. i dig it, but...it's a very large target. amuses me how my love of defense and passing when i played soccer carries over to TT, crackin people in the head, knocking attackers off the dude on my team while he makes a scrum run. it's good stuff i say.

Hey td, i just got back from din. missed the show. you guys there made it, could you give us a run down of how it went, with a touch of specifics? I'm really pushing for ctf, but i haven't even seen it in action yet. in other news, i played as a heavy 2 rounds of scrum today. very amusing. i flat out camp, but not to score, just trying to deny everyone goals, as tho i'm playing ctf one on everyone. i dig it, but...it's a very large target. amuses me how my love of defense and passing when i played soccer carries over to TT, crackin people in the head, knocking attackers off the dude on my team while he makes a scrum run. it's good stuff i say.

Great game tonite. And yeah, I'm getting more traffic now to. According to the stats, 40 percent of my traffic came from MacGamer. And tankdork: Nice overhead. I need some of those for my "levels" section....

Heavy and medium tanks couldn't keep up and were basically useless.
For the next few games we switched back to Hiccampus Hollows.. yeah baby. That map is perfect.. the distance is about right and there are plenty of power-ups, pads, and cover.
If the bases had equal cover and there was some way to determine who kept the scrum "in their base" the longest... we would be in business! Hardest part is explaining to new people that it isn't about simply playing keep away with the scrum.. you gain points (or time) by keeping the scrum in your base.
All in all.. FP and his merry men kicked our tails.. Green simply kept it "in base" longer than we did in every game.
I added screen shots of the match and new CTF info to my website!
Check it out..
@Jay... working on fixing that now.. got used to broadband, the thumbnails were the pics =)
EDIT: Alright I have increased the font page wide to make it more viewer friendly... if it is still too dark let me know and I will change font colors.
I changed my shots from .gif to .jpg and made super small thumbnails.. it should be modem friendly now.. and not eat up so much of my monthly alotted bandwidth...

The games were a riot as usual.. got off to a slow start since we were using the Pituitary Plateau map... bad plan.. it flat out sucked for CTF.. the terrain is too open and the bases are too far apart.. a good CTF game is more defending/raiding and less chasing on the open field.. if we want that we can play scrum =)Heavy and medium tanks couldn't keep up and were basically useless.

Err... by the way: geocities has a bandwidth limit too. Of course, they won't send you a big bill, they will just say "this resource temporarily unavailable," or something to that effect. Then we will all have to wait for the latest in TT info.

with the overhead shot provided by Bravetree!
It may help some of you get better oriented as to where the bases are located!
