Does anyone know of a plugin that works on the mac version of Maya?

I'm 16, and I love doing game art. I prefer art to anything else, I don't have the patience for most coding, and I haven't bothered to learn much of 3DsX. I hope to have gamedev of some sort as a career in the future..

Thanks for the help. I've just started with Maya, as it seems polysoup is all the rage these days. I was proficient in Constructor, but then DIF's became obselete (spelling fail). Ugh.

- I'd suggest Wings3D until you're comfortable with concepts..then jump up to Maya. ..but that's just the opinion of a winblows user.

You're certainly taking a steep move from Constructor to Maya.- I'd suggest Wings3D until you're comfortable with concepts..then jump up to Maya. ..but that's just the opinion of a winblows user.

ok but seriously now..
I think it's great that you're learning at your age. Kudos!
..Maya has a default dae exporter or you can use Opencollada which seems to be a community fave: www.opencollada.org/download.html
