MacGamer Writeup

by Michael Lewis · in ThinkTanks · 08/07/2003 (8:10 pm) · 5 replies

Hope y'all don't mind, but I wrote up a news item on the growth of the Scrum League and other fan sites for MacGamer. It'll show up on the homepage tomorrow morning by 6:00am Eastern Time.

I was doing a write up about the final release of v1.1 and the PR from Jay and Joe had mentioned the Scrum League, so I thought it was all worth a mention!

The item currently links to the Scrum League page, and Tank Dork's and Nathan's fan site pages. If anyone else has a fansite up that they'd like mentioned, feel free to post here and I'll edit them in during some of the day tomoroow (Friday the 8th).

That's okay. Mac gamers won't hold that against ya -- much. ;)

Actually, we're always happy to see cross-platform games like ThinkTanks. The more players the merrier, especially with consoles taking over everything now, too.

If I get some extra time, I'm even thinking of making ThinkTanks site. It'd be all based around the Heavy Tank since that's what I spend 90% of my time in trying to figure out the good tricks.

Dementus,

Let me know if you'd like any help with the Heavies site... we should compare notes on "tricks".

All these websites! I think y'all should start a new forum thread (the Army's, the Heavy, the scrum leauge, the CTFers) and start outlining any art resource needs that we (BraveTree) might be able to provide for you.

We also have a few nice ThinkTanks banners that we would not mind having on these new sites.

Also, send any links to joe@bravetree.com and I will get some of these sites linked off the BraveTree site.
