All this talk about upgrades ....

I thought I'd jump in and suggest the following:

When playing team bm/scrum, I often get confused as to which team I'm on. I have to stop look for my name in the list, see what color I am, and repeatedly say in my head ("blue is bad, kill blue, blue is bad, kill blue).

How about what ever the imposing team is -- they get colored red. So if you are green, -- there are green and red tanks and the field, and if you are blue -- there are blue and red tanks. (even just placing red boxes or underlines on the enemy's labels would work)

They way you always shoot red. Unless FP is on your team and he's being annoying. Then you can try to shoot blue. (I should stress the 'try' in that sentence.)

Another way to make my life easier (really, that's what you all are here for, right?) -- put my tank in the radar and color it correctly.

Can you tell I do IA/UI/CHI work for a living?

JimmyJames, according to the plans for Think Tanks we will be seeing something like that with a new version...

    Planned for 1.2

Create a bat file for favorite games (auto drop to a server, no shell)
    Customize key binds (with menu)
Assign hot keys to chat messages
Player appears more prominent on radar when they have the scrumball
    Post-game chat

Team skins (will require everyone to upgrade)
    Scrum icon by player names
    health meter (will need playtesting)

James, your idea is a good one, like we see in AMERICA'S ARMY, but it wouldnt work for our lil humble game because there is no team chat option, and we can't yell at eachother if we're all wearing the same pants!
