T3D 1.1 Beta 2 - Particles Emitter don't Deactivate - DUPLICATE

by Oscar Velzi · in Torque 3D Professional · 08/30/2010 (4:34 pm) · 5 replies

Build: 1.1 Beta 2

Platform: Windows XP SP3, 32 bit

Target: Editors

Issues: When unchecking the activate box of a particle emitter, the particle emitter is still active.

Steps to Repeat:
1. Launch the game
2. Create a particle emitter using a TorchFireEmitterNode and TorchFireEmitter
3. Select it and uncheck the active checkbox.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong? I've been having this problem since 1.0.1

I just did what I wrote there. I selected TorchFireEmitterNode as the datablock and TorchFireEmitter as the Particle data. Then selected that particle emitter, clicked on the active checkbox and the emitter continues to work. I even tested on the FPS example.
