Platformer Starter Kit Installation error [Solved]

Hey all,

I was wondering if anyone had come across an installation error with the PSK?

I'm running:

Torque X 3.1.5 pro
Visual Studio 2008 Pro
Windows 7 64 Ultimate
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600

I did see another thread mention that there were issues with source code being released and the currently released version doesn't work with 3.1.5?

Any help would be appreciated :-)

Perhaps Microsoft Windows Installer is missing on your computer? Do a search for instmsi.exe. It should be included with Windows 7.

Besides this error, why are you trying to install the old version of the PSK if you are running 3.1.5?

Hey Aaron,

Ah i think you may have hit the nail on the head with the versions!

I only had version 3.1 available in my product list, I now have 3.1.0.1 available which I'm downloading to try but is there's a 3.1.5 version available?

Ok,

I installed the 3.1.0.1 version and this installed fine. I have another error now which is being discussed at this thred:

So for now, i can't test the platfomer kit :-( but i'll keep researching!
