Creating Music

Hey all, just wondering if anyone can help me or point me in direction of making music for my game? Any programs which can do this by putting different sounds together would be awesome but I havn't found anything yet.

Any help would be great, thanks. :D

Every Mac comes with GarageBand. It's quite decent, and uses the same instruments as its big brother, Logic.

For the big three there's also ReNoise: www.renoise.com/

Sony makes a few: www.sonycreativesoftware.com/acidsoftware

Wow thanks, I never knew Sony made that kind of software, I am going to go with Acid Pro 7, seems like it does everything I need. Thanks :D

One I like is Linux Multimedia Studio (names a bit off as it does run on win/mac/linux)
