New to Garage Games

Just found out about garagegames today from gamedev.net and I must say this is a great idea. I have been working on a 3d game for a couple of months now by myself and can appreciate how useful a community can be. My question is how easy is it to network with people on garage games? It looks like a great place to find people starting out in game development. I myself am looking to find an 3D artist for object modelling and animation and I want to know if this is the place to look. Any information would be appreciated.

The best way to recruit people is to post an ad in the help wanted forum www.garagegames.com/index.php?sec=mg&mod=marketplace&page=jobs Describe your game and features and hope someone will bite.

Done and Done. Thanks for the info. I went and read through a lot of projects and it definately seems like this can be a valuable resource for game development.
