Drag and Drop and other things

Hello,
I'm very new to Torque and still trying to get the hang of everything, but I haven't trouble right from the beginning. I am trying to follow this tutorial video http://vimeo.com/4252198 but I can't even drag and drop any image. So far, I grabbed one from tutorial base and from a random google search for a .png image star (with a clear background), but when I drag it, it won't work. I been googleing and I can't find anyone else with this problem. I'm using a Windows 7 64-bit computer.
Additionally, this could also be another symptom, I also always get the "User account control" popping up every time I try and open the program from the desktop.
I have already tried to reinstall by uninstalling and redownloading and reinstall Torque 2d Pro and there's no effect.

I've also tried this on a mac and in an xp virtual machine. Drag and drop doesn't work at all on the mac (snow leopard), and it seems to work in xpvm, but the images appear blank, making them useless.

Same here. Can't drag and drop also on OS X Leopard (10.5.6). Am using just the Demo version for now, though. Could it be my problem?

Drag and drop has never worked on the Mac in TGB. It has worked with Windows XP and Vista, but I have not tried it with W7 under TGB 1.7.5.

If there isn't a fix available, could someone please explain how to add images without drag and drop?
