Can't load map.

Hello,
I have been experiencing some problems while fooling around with the demo exe file.... The strangest is how the waterworld map (whether I join it on a server or I load it up myself) crashes during the loading. I get a "memory can not be 'read'" error. I thought this was the result of something I tampered with so I reinstalled the v12 and ran the included demo exe file only to get the same result.
Any suggestions?
