3D Max Studio Demo???

Does anyone know if and where I can download a demo of 3D max studio 5 becuase I have searched on many search engines but cant seem to find it.

GMAX is about as close as you'll get with a free download.

I seem to recall that discreet (or some of their re-sellers, anyway) will send a time-limited evaluation copy if they think you're a serious buyer. Try calling up their sales line.

Is GMAX a good 3D modeling tool that I can you for games and toruqe?

GMAX is pretty much a stripped down version of 3D Studio Max, but you can't use it for Torque (no exporter exists, and even if one did it wouldn't be legal to use it unless GG or your company licensed GMAX (which costs a fortune)).

Call up your local reseller or contact Discreet and they can send you a demo CD in the mail. There are no options available to download a demo version of 3DS Max.

Click "30 DAY TRIAL" and you can enter your email address to be notified when they release the max6 demo download in October.
