Game Resume

I do not know if this is the right area to make this post but I am going to do it anyways. I am currently a student and I purchased TGE 1.5.2. I have made a demo that I want to be able to send to people to try it out. It is kind of like a portfolio. I am not selling it or anything. It is just for the purpose of getting a job in the field. The problem is that I do not know how to make like a loader file that will install the game onto a new computer. If anyone knows how or has links that I can go to so I can find out, it would be most appreciated.

Well, you could always just pack it up into a zip and send it to them.

Also, make sure to compile your .dso's first.

Aaaaand it looks like you don't own TGE at all. Now everyone is going to start bitching to you about the EULA.

Disregard this ^, didn't read you being a student.

I actually do own the engine. I bought it. I just bought it for school, not for actually making a puplic release of the game.

About the DSO's, are they not already compiled when you run the game for the first time after you make any changes? Or am I thinking of something else?

Well, I don't know about TGE, but in T3D you can use the console and do compile(filename); to compile files, and you can pack it up, and I think you can put a flag in the engine.
