TGB like Behaviors in T3D?

I know this has been mentioned before but I searched and could not find clear answers to my question; so sorry for any overlap. Anyway I really like the modularity of Behaviors in TGB and I am actually using a similar concept at work and we get a lot of mileage out of reusing scripts.
I was just curious why Behaviors do not exist in Torque 3D?
Specifically:
Are there performance concerns?
Has GG or anyone implemented them in T3D before? Have a resource link for me?
Any chance a concept like them will exist in a future release?
Do they not fit/collide with T3D design philosophies in some way?
Thanks for the help,
Jason
